I recently published a book on a conservative icon, though the book isn't political in nature, called William F. Buckley Jr.'s Guide to Friendship in a Polarized Era.

It's a critique of a number of friendships that the old man held with a bunch of liberal people, including the late, great Christopher Hitchens, Allard Lowenstein, Norman Mailer and many others.

And he's, of course, this great conservative icon, and that might surprise people that he held friendships with people that thought like that.

And so I finally decided to examine friendships that he had only with liberal people.

And then I thought an interesting device to mix into the book was this idea of If someone like William F. Buckley can maintain friendships with people with whom he disagreed, it seems to me that none of us really have an excuse, right? And one of the reasons I wanted to speak with you, in particular, Destiny, is because I consider you to be very well known for being willing to speak with anyone.
