us more.
17:06
Yeah, so I really just, you know, decided a few years ago when I was trying to, in the beginning, I was trying to figure out, okay, I have this domain name for hobby school, and I was trying to figure out, you know, how do I monetize it? How do I grow it? You know, what am I going to do with this? Because I am not a crafty person.
17:25
I'm not into all of that.
17:27
So really, the brand wasn't about me.
17:30
It was more about me.
17:33
kind of inviting people into this world, this fun world of hobbies.
17:38
And, you know, I tried several different things.

Literally just open Claude and start talking and like let it like help you make a freebie Like it's not rocket science, you know, or, but anyways,
8:14
It's really, really important to schedule them in throughout the year with downtime in between.
8:23
I love that.
8:24
And I love the point that you're making.
8:26
I think all of us, myself included, all the introverts out there for sure, would prefer to kind of set our businesses up so everything's just evergreen.
8:37
And we certainly have those elements set up.
8:39
There's no doubt about it.
8:41
But to your point, there's nothing out there.

8 MINS LATER

16:58
I'm not totally changing the summit and event model, but I am being more strategic about connecting it with growing the community that I then get to nurture and engage with post event and i know you're doing this too aren't you destiny like you're being really intentional about connecting your events and you already had community um with your b2c events but yeah with your b2b events lately community is a big part of it right
19:37
And then kind of, I guess, on the opposite spectrum here, what would you say is the biggest maybe lesson you've learned from doing this? And what would you say is the hardest part or the hardest thing that you've experienced in starting businesses or I guess maybe your business in particular?
19:58
Yeah.
19:59
So the biggest lesson or some of the hardest things that I've done, maybe it's two different questions there, but I would say that you have to continue to try different things because a lot of them are not going to work and i will give you some examples here because i have certainly done a lot of things that didn't work right so one of the things that we wanted to do in hobby school was to go after corporate you know corporations right bigger corporations that could kind of tap into what we're doing in hobby school and bring kind of this corporate wellness, right, to their employees.
20:43
Because a lot of, you know, corporations, a lot of their employees, they like hobbies.
20:48
And there's a lot of research out there, quite frankly, that it helps employees be more productive.
20:54
So we tried to go after those corporations and it proved to be extremely difficult, right? To either, number one, get their attention, get the right people.
21:07
And when we did, a lot of times, oh, they're like, this sounds great.
25:07
What would you say are ways that maybe you have kind of combated that imposter syndrome? And how would you recommend for people who deep down know that they have value to bring to the table? How would you recommend that they kind of fight that imposter syndrome and get themselves out there?

And actually, do you want to talk about what your dashboard does, Destiny, and also maybe what live artifacts are? Because I feel like it's in here.
11:56
Yeah, so I just, I mean, really, when I got access to the KIT-NCP, I just started like playing around with it.
12:04
So I just had to connect to it.
12:06
And I, Monica, just so you know, I took the transcript from our last Weird Hermits call that we had last week, where I specifically asked you, because you were in that beta trial with KIT.
12:19
I said, I'm about to, I'm going to start playing around with the KIT-NCP tomorrow.
12:25
Where should I start? And literally everything you said in that transcript, I took that and put it into cloud.
12:32
And I said, I now have access.
Monica FroeseMODERATOR
14:53
And the dashboard that you built, is it a live artifact?
2:39
So here is Destiny Kopp.
2:41
First of all, I wanna let everybody know that I built these slides using Claude.
2:48
So I basically told Claude what I wanted to talk about today, and I put all the information in there, and I took that information and put it in the Gamma app, and it literally built these slides.
3:00
In a minute, another kinda AI trick, 'cause I know we're in a AI summit here, and that has also been another game changer for me.
3:08
But again, super excited to be here today, and I'm gonna be talking about the newsletter funnel, how to turn AI, or how to use AI to turn your subscribers into buyers, and I have a complete system on this.
3:23
For those of you who may know a little bit more about me, I got really obsessed with newsletters a few years ago, and I did a deep dive six-month research study.
3:34
So I put my marketing professor hat on, did a deep dive research study, and from that research study, I came up with my system, which I'm gonna walk you through that today.

38 MINS LATER

41:58
A little help here would be amazing how an email marketing software would work.
6:10
What is a growth flywheel and how is it kind of different from a sales funnel and what's your approach? So
6:15
I specialize in digital products.
6:17
Like that's my passion, whether it's low cost digital products, online courses, memberships.
6:22
I have a lot of people who have coaching programs and they might have some digital products into that.
6:28
And you can sell those via funnels, right? I mean, they, you know, you...
6:33
typical funnel.
6:33
You have a free gift where they go into maybe a tripwire.
10:29
Where do you recommend people spend some time or maybe like the order of operations here in what they should be focusing on first and then adding on as they
