But like the Eleusinian mysteries of Persephone and Demeter, there appears to have been a mystery cult that was associated with death and rebirth in the same way that Persephone's was, the Eleusinian mysteries.

When I was researching my Persephone album, I discovered this myth of Despina, the daughter of Demeter, and I really wanted to find out more.

And it's not the easiest myth to find out a lot about.
