Desperate People

This is like mind-blowing.

I mean, it, like I said, it gives you a feeling of cinema just for your ears, and it's allowing your mind to kinda paint that picture where again, you can go from something that's a little bit more happy-go-lucky but still giving you a message of Glamorous and then going into a song like Desperate People and just that grittiness.

It's, it, it's that simple transition without having to put like a storyline put together.

The storyline's in the lyrics, just gotta listen.

These houses may look all run down, but they have value you can't see.

It puts me in the mind frame we're talking about public housing, and especially, uh, displacement of public housing for minorities and people of color.

And when you're touching on those things it's like what Desperate People brings in is that- People who were high society, your landowners, your renters, they're looking at it as like, "Okay, well this building needs to be teared down.

This needs to be broken down." And people are like, "Hey, you think this is a ghetto, but this is my home.

There gotta be connection somewhere.

Um, but what I'm going with is one of the tracks early on in the disc track for right before open letter or landlord, which is my favorite song, uh, called desperate people.

It's living color from their album vivid on the blind man's challenge.

So, Thank you.

That was...

Gandhi.

Desperate people.

From the record Vivid.
