Meanwhile, Dennis Santana continues to be outstanding.

By the way, Ryan Nelson was added back to the roster, and a corresponding move was that Derek Law, guy with known great name, just the best name on this team, he was designated for assignment.

And honestly, Law didn't really deserve it.

It was just a matter of... righty lefties and how many they had and where they were at.

But overall, I thought law did an outstanding job for this team.

And I think he'll continue to go on and hopefully, you know, shove for either the diamondbacks once again, if they can bring them back or, you know, another team, but Derek law again, Deserves better because of how great his name is.

Dennis Santana, meanwhile, he deserves to stick around.

He was incredible.

And in the bullpen, Jonathan Loaizaga is back on the roster, which helps.

Taylor Clark, Derek Law, Brandon Fatt, Dennis Santana, Justin Martinez, Juan Murillo, and Brandon Garcia are the options left.

But it's thin.

Thin is an understatement.

The key is avoiding the bullpen early.

If they have to use Taylor Clark or Derek Law in the first three innings, the game gets volatile.

Right.

And the Marlins are 7-7-7, so they aren't exactly a powerhouse, but they know they need to steal games.

Exactly.

And speaking of the bullpen, we got Taylor Clark, Brandon Garcia, Kevin Jinkiel, Derek Law, Jonathan Loaizaga, Justin Martinez, Juan Murillo, Dennis Santana, and Brandon Fatt available.

That's a lot of arms, but not a lot of freshness.

Justin Martinez had that historic immaculate inning earlier this year, which was incredible, but he's pitched a lot lately.

I trust his stuff, but I question his workload.

An immaculate inning is a great story, but it doesn't mean he's ready to eat innings late in the season.

I want to see Kevin Jinkiel or Derek Law handle the 7th, then maybe Suarez or Murillo for the 8th.

You don't burn your best relievers in a must-win game unless you have no choice.

From there, Jonathan Bolizaga and Juan Murillo both give you an out of the bullpen scoreless.

Derek Law, five outs out of the bullpen scoreless.

And then the Seattle Mariners with the absolute rerun kicking of the night.

19 to one, they take down the Athletics.

So, you know, if they want Nelson back on Tuesday, then somebody's got to go.

You know, and your options are Gallin or Derek Law or Dennis Santana.

But one of those three guys has probably got to go to make room for Ryan Nelson, right, barring any kind of injury or mishap between now and then.

So, yeah, those are the decisions that they're facing.

You know, at the same time, why not, you know, bring in Soroka right away? Well, you didn't want to bring Soroka in the middle of an inning with men on base.

You wanted to give him a clean inning start.

So that's why Derek Law finished up those last two outs of the outing, you know, of the fourth inning in that start against Kansas City.

Yeah, and I think that was all reasonable.
