How have you walked through the past two years?

Uh, it's been rough.

You know, it's been rough, so I've been just leaning into my family and my circle.

You know, I've been, uh, actually kind of grateful that I can spend this time with my daughter and just developing my relationship with her.

You know, uh, there's not gonna be many points in time in my career that I'm gonna be able to, like, be this present.

So I've been looking at the glass half full instead of half empty.

... have you taken that into your, your rehab? Where are you with that? How are you feeling with this whole process?

Doing great.

I guess in the respect of that, like, when is the first time you realized, like, yourself, like, like, "Damn, I got game"? Like, when did it really just first hit you?

Hmm.

You know, like, I'd probably say, so COVID hit my sophomore year going into junior year, and my freshman year of high school I was in a boot because I had surgery on my left ankle.

So, you know, I was getting back, trying to, you know, make a name for myself, and then the whole world shut down.

So, you know, I couldn't do nothing.

All you could do was just stay in the gym.

So I had a local YMCA that was w- probably, like, 15-minute drive from my house, and I was in there Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, 4th of July, New Year's, just I was in there with people who were 5'10", 5'7", just trying to do my best to, you know, stay in front of them, try to guard them and, you know, kinda create my game around it.
