Derech Hashem

The concept of Tzadikim, of righteous people protecting a generation or protecting people from Hashem's punishments, is very foundational in Judaism.

The Ramchal speaks about it in Derech Hashem.

We know even at the time of the Midbar, when Moshe Rabbeinu sends out spies to s- check out the land of Israel, one of the things he wants them to look for is to see if there is a Tzadik.

He tells them, "Hayesh ba'etz," go see if there is a tree, a tree being a Tzadik, like Tzadik katamar yifrach, who's gonna protect his people.

Torah is big.

The Ramchal writes in Derech Hashem that Hashem puts Himself in the Torah.

It's the only thing out of all the mitzvahs that Hashem puts Himself inside.

And how do you get it? Listen to this.

Okay, so being that we are standing a few days before Rosh Hashanah, so we're gonna do a special Derech Hashem, uh, Shir on Rosh Hashanah these days.

So we're gonna go to Halek Dalet, Perek Shmini, which is where he talks about the Hagim, and Rosh Hashanah is in Ois Dalet.

And we're gonna notice the very first thing, like the, like the Maggid Mishnah says about the Rambam's Yad Hazakah, that gadol siduro mihiburo.

You can literally rely on the location.

So with the Ramchal, it's very evident.
