We are joined each week by KT McFarland, President Trump's Deputy National Security Advisor in the first administration.

And so when the call went out for PDB briefers for the first Trump administration, I raised my hand.

And I was first assigned into the West Wing to brief the deputy national security advisor and then the national security advisor at the time.

And I had a great experience.

I spent about six months running around the Trump White House in the West Wing, traveling with the president to Mar-a-Lago and Bedminster.

And it really felt like we had made it from in terms of, you know, a lot of things were left to be resolved as far as the treatment of LGBT Americans.

But in my experience, I had been able to serve at the highest levels and it was never a problem.

When you were the PDB briefer for the Deputy National Security Advisor and the National Security Advisor, was that easier or harder than briefing John and me?

Well, I had a very different customer than John Feiner, especially.

And just hours ago, it was reported that the Saudis would be cutting shipments of crude oil to Europe, further exacerbating the global oil shortage.
