So, so liquidation in itself, uh, yeah, liquidation in itself suggests a proper wind down and a process where the independent, uh, liquidator takes over the process of closing down the business.

My guest on today's edition of Talk Back is Debbie Lim, senior partner in law firm's Denton Ardour's litigation and dispute resolution group, where she co-heads its restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy practice.

Our topic today, of course, taking a page from the recent closure of the True Group.

She's a legal designer and educator and a futures thinker based in Prague.

She has spent more than a decade working across legal practice, innovation, and technology, and has previously led project management and transformational work at Dentons across Europe.

She now works through Attorney at Code, advising law firms, startups, and and other organizations on legal design, AI, and service transformation.

She also teaches Modern Lawyers course at Charles University.

That background helped shape how he thinks about work, risk, and building something that lasts.

From starting his career at Dentons to moving through a regional firm and eventually joining Gordon Rees to help build and lead its Florida presence, Quinn's path reflects both competitive drive and long-term strategy.

A former Division II basketball player married to a Division I volleyball athlete, Quinn also brings an athlete's mindset to the legal profession.

Along the way, he's navigated big career decisions, a cross-country move, managing partner responsibilities, and even a cancer diagnosis that reshaped how he thinks about time, family, and priorities.

So I was a little, um, I was a little bit worried about that.

And so I thought, "Well, surely the answer is become a contract attorney, a transactional attorney." And so, um, I went, I went f- first, first year to, uh, first year schedule's the same no matter what you wanna go into, but I did sort of gravitate towards some of the more litigation-oriented classes.

And at the end of my first year, uh, I got a job with Dentons, uh, a big firm then, a much, much bigger firm now.

And w- again, really gravitated towards the litigation projects I was given.
