Dennis Stratton

And what I find really funny is that you've got Nicko, who wasn't even on the ballot to be included until a month before, which was a ridiculous oversight.

And then Dennis Stratton, who played on half of one record, they put in.

And this poor guy who nobody has said his name in 45 years really wants to go to this thing and doesn't know if he should or can because he don't want to piss the band off.

Like the dynamics of this are just crazy to me.

50 guys in each one.

You couldn't have put Eric Singer and Garrett Carr and Bruce Kulik in, but Maiden put the foot down and said, Blaze Bailey's in there.

And I thought, and Dennis Stratton too.

They could have overlooked him as well.

Mm.

Which, which he, uh, he plays in RDB with Dennis Stratton, another old friend.

So, um, I went there, and there's this great big 6'5" fella, you know? And he's got lovely wife, little kid, and all the rest of it, and I liked him straight away.

And he went, "Yeah, I'll have a go at that." And I sort of gave him ...

Okay.

So I had Andrew Freeman on here and Dennis Stratton, and they became two headlines for me.

You know, which was good for me.

But it was under my Pauly Flicks channel.

The other point of these opening two songs is that these versions have Adrian Smith playing on them, unlike the studio versions.

Musically, you can notice the slight difference in guitars between Adrian and Dennis Stratton.

From here, we move into the crowd favorite, Rathchild, which was the opening song on the tour, following the recorded version of the Ides of March, and where DeAnno is at his best out front.

The live version of Killers follows that, one of the great songs, and one that seems criminally underused live since this tour.
