Dennis Sandole

He was kind of like a, he came from the, he studied with this guy in Philadelphia name.

So he's from Philadelphia and he studied with Dennis Sandoli.

He used to talk about Sandoli and the Sandoli ideas.

And I didn't really understand at the time, but Dennis Sandoli was like, That's who Pat Martino studied with.

That's who John Coltrane studied with.

That's who

And I, I'm, I'm glad that, uh, Justin mentioned the spiritual connection because I do think that that was a spiritual connection for him that he brought into the music.

But he did study with an important, uh, jazz artist during that time, Dennis Sandole, um, and learned...

He was a guitar teacher, which is interesting, right? Like, a guitarist, and he was learning some, uh, you know, different jazz conceptions from this guitarist, um, in his method books and, and whatnot.

So he was practicing that.
