Democratic Action Party

His presidency was ultimately terminated in late 2025.

The legislature was quite fragmented, and the largest party in the legislature only held nine seats, the center-right Democratic Action Party.

The fragmentation is largely due to the highly proportional nature of the electoral system, and there is no national level polling due to the unique entity-based elections.

Results of the presidential elections were the following.

The Croat member, representative, Darjana Filipovic, won with 47% of the vote, while political scientist, Slavion Kovacevic, came in second with 30% of the vote.

The Serb member, incumbent president, Zeljka Cvijanovic, won with a majority of the vote.

House of Representatives, the Democratic Action Party, won nine seats, 20% of the vote and no seat change.

Union of Independent Social Democrats got six seats, with 17% of the vote and no seat change.

But that swearing-in ceremony inflicted a very public defeat on the opposition.

This is the act signed by the governors of the four states of the Democratic Action Party.

And that was the point.

Maduro was dividing the opposition, turning it against itself.
