Democrat in Name Only

I've heard a couple of, uh, things that I'd never heard before.

DINO, Democrat In Name Only-

Hmm

... where people have said to me, "If the Massachusetts Republican Party were stronger or more functional, I'd consider you join- joining you," because they consider themselves JFK Democrats, where the flank of the party's gone much further than they want to go.

I double majored in criminal justice and political science.

I was kinda signing up to get more information about what was happening locally, and I saw a Facebook post that they couldn't find anyone at the federal level to run as a Democrat in Idaho.

Hmm.

No one was willing to sign up for it, and they were looking for people who were willing to put their name on the ballot or volunteer or even just be a placeholder.

Hmm.

So growing up, I would fly back and forth, but I've been full-time in Idaho since I was 11.

Do you get a lot of pushback being a Democrat in Idaho?

[laughs] Yeah.
