And I was like, and that's been the theme or the thread that's been through my journey ever since.

Where in southern New Mexico did you grow up? Grew up in two small towns, Deming, New Mexico, home of pure water and fast ducks.

That's the town motto.

And then Las Cruces, New Mexico, which I don't really know if we had a motto.

But southern New Mexico is pretty much small desert towns that not a lot to do, but be outside and great weather.

Yeah, I've been through Las Cruces on my way to Alamogordo.

I spent a little bit of time doing some work down at Holloman Air Force Base, but I've never been to Deming.

Yeah, you haven't missed much.

That's on me, so I'll give you...

Uh, Deming, New Mexico's school lunch May 3rd to May 7th of 1982.

Monday, May 3rd, sloppy joe, corn, tossed salad, peaches, and milk.

There's a lot of milk going on in the Derm- Deming public schools th- that week, where it's like peaches and milk is not a good combination.

That's why the band was not named Peaches & Milk.

May 4th, uh, the day my dad died.

But after that is wine.

I'm making Cabernet Sauvignon from Deming this year.

Next year, I'm going to make some Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, because that's the grapes I used to make.

Also, I'm making a Pinot Meunier, a rosé, which is amazing.

California.

And also California, of course, because I don't have, at the time, I didn't have any vineyards.

But now we just bought 60 acres of vineyards in Deming.

So these years, we use about 30% of our grapes from New Mexico.

The more instructive story is the case that didn't stick right after his release.

In February of 1974, Dorfman was indicted over $1.4 million in pension fund loans to a plastics company in Deming, New Mexico.

His co-defendants were a who's who of the outfit's orbit.

Joey Lombardo, one of the most powerful men in the outfit, and the mob's man in Las Vegas, Tony Spilotro, were charged as well.

Yeah, in Deming, New Mexico.

I posted a picture of this the other day.

There's a picture of my minivan at the truck stop because his truck was shorter, right? And so we were able to fit in one truck space where I pulled my minivan in front of the truck and the truck stop was full.

It was a TA in Deming, New Mexico.

Uh, we didn't have, I don't even know if we still have any locations there, but, uh, but then the rest of the time we ended up, uh, just getting a hotel.

Nebbiola is a pretty special grape.

It only grows in one location in New Mexico, down in Deming.

So Paolo grew this.

But it looks light.

She was united in marriage to Wayne R. Jones.

Hazel is survived by her sons Patrick Young of Davenport, Daniel Young of Omaha, Nebraska, and Michael Young of Deming, New Mexico.

Grandchildren James Young, David Meredith, Tammy Meredith, Jessica Young, Dylan Willett, Missy Hardaway, Andrea Bollinger, Naomi Laird, Michelle Messink, Riley Young, and Daniel Young, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

And so certainly we, we think about, you know, moderation, right? And then also personalized risk, right? So first off, you gotta take a real honest assessment.
