Delta National Forest

When we sampled, we sampled in Mississippi.

We looked at the Homochita National Forest, and we also looked at the Delta National Forest.

Delta National Forest, big... 60,000 acres and we only put eight traps up.

So we got to, we put them, spaced them nicely, I'll say around the Delta, but we didn't get probably nearly as many as we hopefully could have.

But that being said, yeah, we didn't find any in the Delta National Forest, nor did we find in the home of Chito.

Well, it came here from Asia.

It came over in pallet material and things like that.

so you mentioned earlier that ash trees are really prevalent in these riparian areas so of course if they're getting destroyed there uh there's ecological consequences is that uh Is that why you would be trapping along the Delta? Because it's just such a big eco-region that we're paying attention to, or is there another rationale?

It came over in pallet material and things like that, if you go far enough back.
