Delphos

Conversations happened behind doors that led me to where I am.

And it was really a motivation when I learned they don't even have the band boosters in Delphos anymore.

Did you know that?

No, I didn't know that.

Yes.

And I think there's people just kind of looking at different things to do with that, and the different events that happen in downtown Lima, and the amphitheater, and are helping bring interest in additional development.

So certainly a large event happening in the Delphos community is going to draw a lot of positive things for that community.

I would hope.

There's something special about dairy operations, dairy farmers, and so I'm excited for today's talk as we have on with us Megan Hempfling.

She's with Hempstead Holsteins up by Delphos, and Megan, thanks for, for being here, because we're here to talk about a pretty exciting, uh, new checkoff initiative.

And before we get into that, let's talk about you for a moment.

Tell us a bit about your background and, uh, about yourself.

Hi.

I'm Megan Hempfling.

I am from Hempstead Holsteins here in Delphos, Ohio.

I am a sixth-generation dairy farmer and our operation has been running since 1862.
