Della Street

We will tell you all about it.

And by the way, Perry Mason's secretary was named Della Street.

That actress had a son named William Katt, who became The Greatest American Hero.

Yeah.

Yeah, yeah.

And he created these characters, by the way.

Anyway, he has a confidential secretary by the name of Della Street, played by Barbara Hale.

And he also has a private investigator he works with constantly named Paul Drake, seen here with Betty Davis.

I, I wanted to be Perry.

I didn't wanna be Della Street.

And it was, um, difficult because I didn't know ...

The o- I only knew one lawyer who'd later become a Superior Court judge.

Her husband, and I have to read this because it took me a while to find this, because I moved here 40 years ago in 1986, and I had no idea where the name come from, so I assumed it was.

But she was best known for two series, Della Street and Perry Mason.

She was in both of those.

And people thought, we need star power, literally, as in a Hollywood actress.

And I got

really, like, all about some Perry, Della Street, and then the one case he lost, and you had Betty Davis.

I mean, these people that were on that show.

Well, here's the thing, is that it's more than just a show, because it's almost 100 years that Perry Mason has been around.
