Deliverance ministry

The same way that the word python spirit or Jezebel spirit or the spirit of heaviness, but the same way that the word python spirit or spirit of divination, the Jezebel spirit or the spirit of heaviness are illustrations we use to describe how certain demonic spirits operate.

Octopus spirit is the image that captures one of the most common forms of mental oppression we deal in deliverance ministry.

Oh, so where did he get this from? Well, he's a guy who cast demons out of Christians, but Christians cannot be possessed by demons.

There's not a single, and I mean single text in the New Testament, in the narratives or in the epistles that teach that Christians can be possessed by demons after they are believers in Jesus Christ.

That was my favorite genre.

Can you imagine? Isaiah, Saldivar, The Demon Slayer, The Deliverance Ministry, The Professional, For a Living, Casting Out Demons, Preaching the Gospel.

My favorite movies were horror movies.

Not whore movies, which I mean, that as well is a dick to do.

Number seven, thinking about others is the key to deliverance ministry.

May God use you to deliver somebody.

Point number six, reject the rise of modern apostles and spiritual elites.

Spencer Smith had this program, I think about a week and a half ago, He had a podcast where he showed how Greg Locke, who has something called the Deliverance Ministry, and the whole thing is a big scam.

I don't have time to go in.

I think I spoke about that on a podcast a couple of weeks ago, but Spencer Smith, about a week and a half ago, showed how Greg Locke who was declared to be an apostle, and then he went on to lay hands on people and ordain other apostles.

He is already complete in Jesus Christ.

Colossians 2.10. And ye are complete in him which is the head of all principality and power.

You know how a deliverance ministry works? It convinces saved believers.

that they have a devil living inside them, and only the charismatic leader is capable of casting that devil out.

So with me, I am not a deliverance pastor.

I'm a pastor and deliverance in our case is a part of a discipleship.

Deliverance is not a hammer that fixes every nail.

So for us, we always tell people is that deliverance is a component of a discipleship.

Without discipleship, this is what I think, without discipleship, deliverance sooner or later will get wacky and weird.

And so to treat deliverance as something that if you get this, all of your problems will be over.

I think it's doing injustice to the biblical framework of deliverance.

Deliverance just deals with demons.

you need both um so for me god is is both god is all god is everything god is the the the source the connection the i mean that word has its own distortions but source as in the font as in the the creator, the originator, and is ever-present across time and space and all things.

And from that perspective, I see what Deliverance Ministry is doing as perfect for their community.

And they're meant to help people who have the Yahweh distortion.

Right.

Like, it's already there.

It's already there.

Um, you know, if you watch people that do, and I'm not sure I would ever do something like this, but I have respect for people that, that talk and do deliverance ministry, like out in the street, you can see stuff pop out of people.

Yes.

And me and my wife, we were both into deliverance, teaching people.

We had a deliverance ministry.

I guess you would call it a ministry, but that's what we're called to do as Jesus followers.

And so we helped people that were struggling with addictions, you know, lust, divorce, all those things that we struggled in, we were helping other people.
