Delicate Arch

That was a twist I did not see coming.

You know, you kind of like she comes into the scene when the whole Delicate Arch controversy comes in and she's like, oh, just speaking about Patagonia and whatnot.

And then all of a sudden you're like, oh, yeah.

10 years later, she divorces her husband to be with Dean is like kind of the craziest one twist.

Like these sports had such an antagonistic relationship with national parks, with with the man, like the whole normal society.

And.

Dean climbing the delicate arch and then the subsequent controversy that came from it.

And then Patagonia firing him and Steph Davis, his wife at the time, was like, I kind of look at it.

Yeah

... kind of full circle moment for me too with loving Arches National Park, Delicate Arch.

Yeah.

And, and just people-

And so it's definitely an interesting thing.

Our last trip to Arches, as a matter of fact, we were hiking out to Delicate Arch.

It was just this windstorm, and my daughter-in-law's got the grandbaby in the backpack, and he's the whole way excited to go up this hill, and it was blowing so hard that you could barely even walk.

We felt like we were maybe...

be somewhere with good plumbing.

Well, the Grand Canyon, Delicate Arch, these places don't have good plumbing.

So it wouldn't work that way.

And even if it's just a simple, like, take my ashes to Moab.

When they came to Nerdtacular, they told me that when they went to Moab, or maybe it was after, but they went to Moab.

And he got about halfway into the hike to Delicate Arch.

Yeah.

And it was like 105, and he went,

But I got inspired.
