What do I know Mason Lee from?

You would know Mason Lee because Ma- and I don't want to say Mason Lee is a nepo baby, but he is kind of a nepo baby 'cause Ang Lee, Ang Lee is his father.

Um, but Mason Lee would be best known, I suppose, to American audiences from The Hangover.

He's in The Hangover, a small part, not from The Hangover.

But the reason he came to me was, um, and two characters I have picked today are from the same movie, and it is a Chinese movie called Dead Pigs.

And it is one of my favorite films, um, from China that I watched.

It is this 2018 movie that is epic.

Who do you have for that role?

You've got to talk to us about two of the chapters which deal more about the sort of diversity aspects.

Yeah.

Yeah, so the first one is Sandrine and Eric's chapter.

And that's such an interesting chapter and so timely, as you mentioned.

They, we were talking earlier, they interviewed two people as part of the chapter and they wanted to talk to people about Black and Irish identity in Ireland and how often the digital space can be somewhere that you can offers some sort of counterculture narrative to notions of blackness and black Irish identity been something that's so contested and so discussed.

And, you know, they start off discussing Obama.

And it's such an interesting moment because it reminds me of, you know, this hostile life by Melody Rooker, which she talks about, you know, in one of the Under the Awning stories.
