I would agree.

I loved them before they came out with Deguelo, and then that was like, oh, yeah.

These guys, they can roll with it.

The later stuff, when Frank dropped, he, Frank was out of it for a little while and they were, they went to the electronic drums and that's when it got, got a little stiff.

They came back.

They had Deguello that came out in 79 and Aloko that came out in 81.

After they had been on this hiatus.

oh definitely definitely yeah i remember the first time i heard them back in I think it was Deguello when that album came in.

Was it 1978, I think? I remember they played in Dortmund in Germany, West Germany, and that show was broadcasted on TV, Swedish TV, which is, you know, we hardly ever saw any rock and roll in Sweden around that time.

So that was my first connection with ZZ Top.
