I don't know how I feel about any defensive end predictions right now, because if I just pull up the offer list for Notre Dame in the 2028 class, Kyle, and you go through it, it's like, how many defensive ends are they going to be able to take? They took, what, three this class? I think they'll probably end up taking three in 2028.

They might have

i'm really interested in your role as a defensive end you kind of touched on it there but Can you break down what a training week looks like for you? Like how much of it is in the gym? How much is on the track? How much is a team session? Like, do you do any work at all with the ball? Because you had two touchdowns for your career.

You don't obviously have the ball as a defensive player, but interested to know, do you ever train with the ball and things like that?

But I guess when it comes to the personnel, how do you think they absorb this loss at defensive end?

Yeah, I think Max was your best bet to try and get home with four.

And that's every defensive coordinator's dream right now is to be able to do that, to get your guys dropping back and to make a play on the quarterback because he's got a different type of burst.

But, you know, we didn't see it a ton this this weekend.

Max Granville not being out there was not the reason Penn State gave up 176 yards of the ground.

But those defensive ends.

played, I think, played a decent role in that number being so loud or so high.

And again, this is the kind of game where you're going to see the blocking element of that really come into play again.

Michigan's basically an SEC team, right? And how many times did you see these really big, talented teams Defensive end, the edge guys get to or pressure Oklahoma's quarterback recently.

No disrespect to a guy like Jaron Kanick, but that wasn't his role.

But I'm worried about the defense.

Again, they d- they only added a guy, a notable guy of Mike Danna, D end, and Bradley Chubb.

Like, I needed to see more from them from a team that didn't win the division, and the Patriots are acting like they didn't win the division and got A.J. Brown and Kevin Byard, and Kevin Byard was the best player on the Bears defense, getting all the interceptions.

So like, they only got better with that tough schedule that's gonna come for them.

Like, he set up a great team, he see, the c- the players loved him, but, like, that final aggression to just not, you know, just to get over the hump, I think they needed a change of scenery.

I wanna see Miles Garrett hit quarterbacks.

I wanna see all my defensive ends, all my guys that made the team, make plays, and that's it.

Just wants pass rush.

He's a big-time player, five-star caliber player.

There's also another defensive end they're in on named Asher Giotto who's a high school teammate of Xander Edwards at Jacksonville Bulls And he's a guy that I think most likely stays down south, Sean, but he's been on campus a couple times.

I believe he's going to be here for the Miami game as well.

So he's another guy to keep an eye on.

But it's a deep, deep class.

But now with Prescott in the class and how well you did the last two years, they can be patient for some of those top guys.

They don't need to hustle to try to fill out this defensive end class.

I think linebacker is kind of an interesting one because, as we've talked a lot about, it's this 2027 class that will be here next year is thin at linebacker.
