Judy Heldman, who led the United States to its first victory over Australia in the Bonnie Bell Cup last weekend, was selected as the playing captain of the 1974 US Wightman Cup team.

The matches against Great Britain will be played at Deeside, Wales October 24th, 25th, and 26th.

Ms. Heldman, who will be representing the United States in international team play for the 12th time, was playing captain when the Americans edged Australia 5-4 in the Bonnie Bell Cup.
