Um, what are you drawn to musically and artistically, you think?

Uh, well, a lot of Brazilian music lately, and also, uh, you know, I'm liking, uh, uh, Deerhoof a lot lately.

I don't know if you're a Deerhoof fan.

So I've been a DJ on DubLab for a couple years now and I have a show called Tangled and it's kind of like this expansion on this chat book that I have but growing up there wasn't very many Asian American musicians.

There was, you know, the Smashing Pumpkins guy, the Linkin Park guys, And then it wasn't until later on when I found Blonde Redhead and Deerhoof, I was like, whoa, this is awesome.

I said earlier, playing music is really awesome, and finding music is really awesome, but also feeling like I'm a member of this community and being able to support the younger generation has been really something, I think.

I think it really says a lot that we're also in a time when community radio stations like DubLab and The Lot Radio and NTS have really been experiencing a sort of surge of popularity and interest.
