Deer Lodge

So I saw the potential in them.

Um, Shelby Beeson, she's now the head coach at, um, uh, Powell County, so Deer Lodge, and she cheered under me last year at Rocky, but no stunt experience.

But then I also have athletes coming from out of state who are working elite skills and can do everything.

And so, like I always say, like when they walk in the door, they've got an empty, an empty toolbox, and my job is to meet them where they're at when they walk through the door and give them the tools they need to meet our standards.

No local jail can hold this cat.

On April 27th of 1913, under his Jefferson Davis alias again, he was admitted to the Montana State Prison at Deer Lodge, Montana.

In his occupation, when they book him in, what do you do for a living? He said he was a waiter and a teamster.

Now, when he's locked up, he meets Jimmy Benson.

But he was smart enough not to use Jeff Davis.

This time he used the name Jeff Robes.

And he was incarcerated at Deer Lodge for an additional year.

I mean, you know, they don't recognize that you were Jeff Davis a month or so ago or however long ago, but they sent him back to prison.

This guy was a really fast kid.

He's from Deer Lodge, Eric Gray.

Eric Gray.

I remember I would talk crap to Eric Graves, a receiver at Montana State at the time.

So tell me quickly about number one.

This, uh, first one was, uh, recorded in Deer Lodge Prison in Montana.

Um, it was recorded by Barry.

You'll hear a steel door creaking, and the EVP will say, "Help.

Uh, you do the setup.

Uh, this one, uh, was pretty interesting.

We had been told at the Deer Lodge that, uh, there had been a riot, a prison riot in the prison.

It was approximately about nineteen fifty-nine, and the warden had been killed, and there was two of the prisoners that was up in this prison tower and, uh, the, uh, police, uh, sheriffs and, uh, people that were trying to get this riot under control fired a grenade up into this tower where these two, uh, prisoners were that were hiding out, that were holding out.

Now we read you that telegram from Alan Coppithwaite of the Helena, Montana Independent Record.

"Murderers in tonight's big story were sentenced to life imprisonment at Montana State Penitentiary at Deer Lodge, where they are this very day.

Although I could not bring my friend Paul Rogers back to life, I feel that in some small measure I was able to prove my everlasting friendship for him.

Okay, so that was another time.

We were, we, uh, we went up through, uh, Albuquerque, you know, Colorado, Wyoming, you know, Deer Lodge, Montana, and then, you know, over the passes to Coeur d'Alene North.

So that's, my place is close to the Canadian border.

Um, Spokane, Washington is that way, and like an hour from my house.

Before the couple could run, the Zodiac brandished his weapon at them.

He told Bryan and Cecilia that he was on the run after killing a security guard in Deer Lodge, Montana, and needed to borrow Bryan's car to get to Mexico.

He promised if they cooperated, he wouldn't hurt them.

That was a lie.
