I, I feel like Alakazam has earned its place in A again.

Um- It's, again, I still think there's an interesting debate on how you're dealing with pulp, whether it's gonna be the, the battle cages and that kind of stuff, or whether it's gonna be the control package, whether it's gonna be a, like, a weird little mix of both where you still maybe, like, play the Dedenne and one hammer we've seen in some lists, but, um, but, like, not full going, not fully going into, like, the Elgyem and all of that stuff.

So you still have this control package against other things to deal with the Mist Energies and stuff like that.

But you're still just basically saying, "I'm a cage double Genesect guy," to try and, you know, win against pulp.

... uh, the Mateusz list and put that into a Rabsca list.

Um, and then you can still fit, like, Dedenne, so you can still, like, Dedenne E hammer to still have a Crustle answer/a Mist Energy answer.

I think that is, like, pretty interesting, um, especially if you think the knee-jerk is like, "Oh, there'll just be more Watchtowers and more, like, red cards or whatever-

That's a good matchup.

Alakazam can either be built with the Dedenne Enhanced Hammer package or without.

I think there maybe was more reason to play it with in prior formats.

But if they play it, you know, without, that's, you know, the Mist Energy is quite good for Crustle.

I guess there's two Genesects.

There's a Dedenne.

There's no Elgym or Nighttime Minds that we've seen, like the Karas Control list that was popularized late in the season.

What are your thoughts on Diego's list? Why do you think Alakazam as a whole had such a strong showing at the World Championship?

Yep.

Stunfisk, the starters, Helioptile, and Dedenne.
