Deckard Cain

Closer to now, Diablo 4's Season of Hell's legacy lands September 15th to mark 30 years of Diablo.

It brings back the prime evils, the Lord of Terror included, along with Deckard Cain, Nightmare Rifts, Anniversary Rewards, and gear pulled from every era of the series.

A little further out, the Amazon joins as the next Diablo 4 class in the first half of 2027, Javelin in hand, and if you're at the show or playing from home, Mephisto has returned to terrorize the unsuspecting.

He is as utterly malevolent as you remember.

Cause I just went third person.

So, but I didn't do, I didn't go Deckard Cain.

I'm classy.

Like, literally on your way to Pandemonium.

And going into hell and fighting Diablo at the end of Diablo 2, there's a whole conversation with Deckard Cain about there are myriads of ways to get from Sanctuary to pretty much anywhere you want to go if you're clever enough to find them.

This is the root of the basis of stuff we talked about before, which was like, Why sanctuary can connect to all these different places.

Why it as a realm that exists seems to be able to touch all the other realms that are, that have ever existed.

we saw in Diablo three that the human dead, their, their spirits were being transported to the world soul chamber in pandemonium.

And now they can come back from that.

And Deckard Cain's one of them.

That's not spoilers.

For half the game, he was another character.

He was Deckard Cain's daughter's...

That was just

possession.

And so they were like, well, we kind of want more story with it.

And that's why they're bringing back Deckard Cain.

Like, a lot of people were upset that they killed him off, right, in D3.

All right, so very funny story on this because one of the things I mentioned is the Final Fantasy battle noise.

Because if they go for, like, the really gritty end of it, I can imagine it being quite good.

If they decide to, like, I don't know, do Diablo 3 and have Deckard Cain running around, it probably won't be that great.

I'd watch that.
