And I keep an eye on it regularly.

On top of that, I do also have an iPad to my side with a plugin called Decibel, which is a very good and very versatile, flexible metering plugin that gives you about a dozen different metering tools, including your stereo width, your LUFS levels, your left-right side, your crest factor, your EQ, and then you can set the LUFS targets for streaming, YouTube, CD, vinyl, whatever.

It's ridiculously flexible and customizable.

Our current guitarist, Darren Brown, got in touch with me and asked me to sing a song on his band Decibel's kind of record.

So I did that.

And then we started chatting about writing some new songs.

Let's understand first decibels.

Sound intensity is measured in decibels, or you'll see that as dB.

And the important thing to understand is that the decibel scale is logarithmic.

That means going from 85 to 88 decibels isn't just a tiny increase in sound exposure.

Yeah, a decibel meter.

Maybe.

Decibel, yeah.

Yeah, 60 decibels.

Okay.

According to the Tempo, Des uses a she, they pronouns and is a Borealis blue snapping turtle from Muskoka, Ontario, who DJs in her spare time.

Their name is inspired by Decibel, a nod to their love of music and a role as more as the more measured half of the duo.

The team said Dez is calm, clever and always thinking a few steps ahead.

A Taurus who spins on the ones and twos in their spare time.

Des is a snapping turtle and the name's inspired by Decibel, with a nod to Des' love of music.

And Dot is an arctic hare from Canada's north, bringing speed, energy, and endless hype.

So thinking about minimizing and reducing our attack surface is also very, very important as a blockchain-based technology.

So all the financial markets we provide access to, whether it's Decibel or even the data markets with projects like Shelby, are very, very well secured in the Aptos ecosystem.

And I hope others are taking the same approach, but inevitably, the technology affects people as much as they allow it to.

And so we've always been a very forward technology company.

Trying to boost this flywheel of kind of economic activity.

And so we kind of measure...

How do we see the economic activity of transactions on-chain with respect to certain products like Decibel, the amount of value being traded? I think there's been more than $5 billion of purpose value being traded on Decibel in four or five months to date.

And then seeing the billion plus dollars of stablecoins being activated in the market for trading for stablecoin settlement for other types of use cases.
