And, and that's why, uh, Leon ended up, he says, paying him $158 million, which seems, uh, you know, exorbitant, and a lot of people, I think, uh, still to this day find it all hard to believe.

Uh, certainly when I, uh, first heard and read that Dechert report in January of 2021, I wrote a piece in Vanity Fair where I said I thought it was really hard to believe, and I can't believe Leon expects us to believe it.

But, um, you know, during all the interviews with me, he stuck to that, and there's basically been no, nothing really emerging, uh, that, to question that.

Although, uh, clearly, uh, Jeffrey Epstein is dead, so the other side of the equation is not able to discuss it or ratify it.

But the plan was when the Dechert report came out, that Leon would, uh, he was still CEO, he was still chairman of the board, but that he would resign as CEO, uh, six months later in June of 2021 on his 70th birthday and turn the company over to Mark Rowan, and he would remain executive chairman.

That was the plan.

The plan got blown up, however, two months later on March 17th, when this woman that he had been having a consensual affair with and that had ended, basically, and, uh, with whom, to, with whom he had, uh, signed an NDA and had agreed to pay $21 million in exchange for signing the NDA.

Uh-huh.

They hired a law firm called Dechert.

They paid Dechert $5 million.

They produced a report in January of 2021, more than five years ago.

And he says he did that, he tells me he did that because he, quote, "Knew he did nothing wrong, so I have nothing to hide.

Yes, because FIFA are currently, uh, utilizing Linklaters, who are a very well-known global law firm.

Uh, UEFA are using a boutique American firm called Dechert.

Um, a- and I've, I've been through the list of lawyers, uh, and they're all American lawyers.

There was this report by Dechert, the law firm, uh, which, uh, uh, you know, uh, it basically found no wrongdoing on his part, that it was, uh, for, uh, tax and estate advice.

Uh, you know, there's been subsequent reporting in The New York Times and other places, uh, that showed that there was, uh, uh, some more, more involvement with other, uh, women than was reviewed in the Dechert report.

But, uh, people have been trying to make-
