Decent interval

And I think we've got a title this episode.

that term that he and Nixon are basically looking for is a decent interval that there's, that's a quote from Kissinger who's known for being just a cynical and kind of ruthless dude, a decent interval where we can prop up South Vietnam just long enough that we can get out of the country before South Vietnam ultimately falls to the forces of communism.

Um, To that end, we're going to play the big strategic card we have to play there, which is the policy Nixon calls Vietnamization.

Vietnamization.

And we'll get into those next time.

This is about time to wrap this one up.

the decent interval.

Eat it, Henry Kissinger.
