Debert

Truro and Colchester is like a rural community.

Truro's really tight knit and easy to get around, but as soon as you get onto the fringes, or you go out to Debert, Tata, Stuyak, it gets a lot harder to get around.

And if you live in Truro and you're applying for jobs in Debert or anywhere else, for example, you need to have a car to get to work, or you need to be able to carpool, you need that reliable transportation.

And we see that that's been a real big struggle for a lot of the employers and our members, is that they see candidates that they want to hire, but they don't have reliable ways to get to work.

So for a lot of them, it's been a lot of creative thinking of coming up with carpools that their employees do, which is great.
