I'm a parent.

I'm a grandmother.

And the reason I got into this is actually that about five years ago, my oldest daughter rang me one day and said, I have something disturbing to tell you.

And I did not ever imagine that she would say what she was going to say.

And her first thing was, I think that I was sexually abused when I was a child.

Yeah.

I think the beautiful thing of us talking about this now and sharing our stories is that we can help parents realise exactly what conversations they should be having.
