So tell me a little bit about, why did you wanna come on the show and talk about being an author and being an author and how that's powerful to your brand and building your business?

I think that we are, first of all, thank you.

It's a great question.

I mean, we were just having this vast conversation about authorship yesterday and kind of what, you know, we were talking about how to really focus on the differentiator in terms of the return of that process because It's not unusual for people to get approached about being in a compilation or someone saying, do you have a book or seeing other coaches or speakers have a book that they're using as a door opener.

So I remember, I mean, this concept is not that old, really 10 years ago, we were putting, we were helping people put books into their hands and it was mind blowing to people.

And there's two things that I want to say.

One is that if you are an entrepreneur, And especially if you're early on, you're probably watching and thinking, oh my gosh, all these people have books, or maybe you are, you have one, maybe that book did not go to the place that you wanted it to go.

Now,

problem.

So me, Vancouver, Canada, absolutely love it.

You know, the mom to two really good humans doing good things in the world.

I have a daughter and I have a son and they're fabulous.

And you know, my son, you've met him.

Ocean, he'll be on the summit as well.

Can you talk a little bit about that, why a lot of entrepreneurs fail because they don't combine these two?

Yeah.

Well, I think that there's a couple things that happen.

So, you know, we're speaking on a Monday.

I just happened to finish doing a class that I do every Monday.

We do them both time zones and it's, you know, my whole world outside of the media is how does, how does our media company become so successful? I've been a top performance coach since I was in my 20s, so I understand that one to 3% makes a big difference.

As women, it's our job to keep paving the way for the next women.

Share anything you'd like to about any of that.

Yeah, I think that, you know, it's kind of like what you described is when people go to the website and they're like, do you ever sleep? And my answer is like a baby.

Like I sleep really, really well.

I think that my story is one that might seem exceptional, but really isn't exceptional if you stay.

I mean, my whole company is called Mission Accepted Media.

Why? Because it's not really the decision to be the entrepreneur or the decision to be the author or the decision...

That's a process within itself.
