Deathbird

Now, October on my show, and this is gonna open the, the, the, the month, but it's Erik the Red month on my show.

We're gonna be introducing Deathbird in the next couple of episodes as we go to her first couple of appearances with s- with some amazing guests, and then we have an amazing panel all about Erik the Red at the end of the month.

Uh, we're gonna be doing some Shi'ar characters next week as we review Ms. Marvel Number 9, featuring the first appearance of Deathbird.

They get an update on Deathbird and Colossus' condition, kind of like a play-by-play, if we hadn't had enough recap thus far.

We also have to watch Colossus get shot and stabbed again.

They're off in space again with the Shi'ar.

Empress Lalandra is kidnapped and they discover that Lalandra's rogue sister, Deathbird... has formed a secret alliance with the Brood.

The Death Bird wants the Brood's military backing to overthrow Lalandra and steal the throne.

And in exchange, she's like, I will provide you with the thing you really need, which is superpowered hosts, which will be either the Imperial Guard or, conveniently enough, the X-Men.

For instance, he apparently wanted to do an Imperial Guard book.

He wanted to do a Sunspot and Cannonball book around Shi'ar, Deathbird, and the Starjammers, which makes sense considering when we see him, he's usually doing that.

He wanted to do a Generation X book at one point.

He was going to do a Hellfire Club Kids book.

Again, I thought this was a really, really popular set, so seeing the set Ross surprised me as well.

Seeing Deathbird and Gladiator, that one kind of surprised me because I'm a big Phoenix saga mark, so these are...

Deathbird is

a must-have, and then the update to Gladiator is really nice, too.
