I saw a writer on Substack that called Bending Spoons, the grim reaper in software, because every acquisition of theirs has venture investors reexamining their investments in software and trying to get a better handle on what their portfolio is actually worth.

Yeah, maybe they, they're less the grim reaper of software, more the grim reaper of 2021 software valuations.

For those of you who may not be aware, Frank Crist is a Grim Reaper, as I said, but he has a specialty or a calling or, well, it's really a curse.

But also let's recognize for a lot of people who, As you get older, a birthday is reminding you you are one year closer to the Grim Reaper at the finish line of your marathon race.

That doesn't feel good.

And you sort of have this sense like, oh, I don't celebrate birthdays.
