Death by Stereo

Unlike every other podcast out there, I'm Slammy, he's Death, my neck, my back, my neck and my back.

All right, Death, what are we talking about this week? I am going to destroy your eardrums with some Death by Stereo.

Yep.

If looks could kill, I'd watch you

That is a gift you have.

I really should have recognized that.

Before we get going with Death by Stereo, we do have to give a shout out.

So people in real time in listener land will catch this a few weeks later.

Like, we've had people, like The Offspring's helped us out, Bad Religion's helped us out.

The fact that these guys even know who our band is, T.S.O.L, Death by Stereo, Kevin Lyman, the Warped Tour, I mean, you.

I mean, all of these people that know who we even are is, like, half of the battle.

You know, we're playing Punk in the Park next week with all these bands, and we've worked so hard just to be on that flyer.

Shout out to Ephraim.

He's ...

They're, Death by Stereo's the first band that took us on tour.

Oh, really?

you know like it would it would be an interesting take on those songs but i don't know if it would go over but I know that like they all know each other and he probably could handle the touring schedule

what about like this singer from death by stereo

I don't think that's by stereo ever toured to that degree I don't know how well those guys all know each other I feel

like

Yep

... and I was like, "I'm gonna do something different this week," and I said, "I would like you to pick the album on my list that is as far polar opposite as Amy Winehouse as you can possibly get." And it chose for me Death by Stereo, If Looks Could Kill, I'd Watch You Die [laughs]

Fuck yeah.

That is going to be an eclectic episode, that's for sure.

[laughs]

...

but Death by Stereo fucking rules.

Yeah, they do, and we just saw them live, so-

episode was, just to refresh, we had Mitch's...

Last show as a singer of Allura when we opened for Death by Stereo.

I do remember this one now.

And then we played, Allura played four shows in December 2008 as a four piece because we didn't, We kicked out without having a plan of what to do after that.

It's over $100 at least.

but i got the cd when it came out and um yeah cool cd that's the cool cool label on the cd and all that but um yeah just a really awesome live record it's over an hour long it has jams has all kinds of cool shit and only songs from de laust and francis the mute so that makes it even better and uh next up death by stereo death for life this is the only record of theirs that they have never ever pressed um also scab dates not on spotify so or on the streaming sites there you go death by stereo um yeah this is on spotify but this is the only like i said this is the only thing that they've never pressed on vinyl not yet at least and uh yeah this is just a cool metal core band from here in california orange county And you love this record.

I love this record.

And we just love Death by Stereo.

So this is really

fun.

And they probably came in big sheets and they cut it themselves, especially if they don't have like the money to pay for the extra for the cutting or whatever.

It was just a cool time.

searching.

Oh yeah, like Death's March? No.

Jesus

Christ.

Okay, let's look him up.

I don't know that either.

Death by Stereo, an American punk rock singer of Mexican descent, best known for his work with Death by Stereo.
