"Oh, anything here you'd like to see?" "Well, I've already seen Jersey Boys and Mamma Mia!" "Oh, thank you." Um-

And I said, uh, I think I said Death Becomes Her might be good, the first one, November.

Uh, and The Great Gatsby would, would be good.

always put her on the spot to say the prizes, and one time we had people from Death Becomes Her, and I said, what do they win? She said, two tickets to Death Becomes Her.

Ha ha ha! My favorite answer yet.

All right.

Well, I guess it would have to be shows that we don't have here in the UK, right? So something...

I mean, Death Becomes Her has been talked about so much over here and there are rumours that it's coming to London.

But I'm kind of impatient.

That's what I was going to fly over to see because everybody just seems to love it so much.

The successor to Beetlejuice has been, can you tell me? Yes, you can.

Death Becomes Her.

That is the one that everyone wants to see over here next.

And I am somewhat concerned that it may have a similar fate here in the UK.

And it's almost as though the metaphorical foot has been taken off the gas somewhat.

I don't know if they have been side-eyeing Beetlejuice's box offices and getting a little bit of cold feet in response, but there are obvious similarities in terms of the comedy tone, in terms of the viral TikTok popularity in terms of being based on campy, to an extent, cult classic films from the 1980s.

Actually, Death Becomes Her, 80s, 90s, early 90s, I think.

In any case, eager as we all are and lucky as I am to have seen it multiple times on Broadway, I know, I am not necessarily certain that it's going to be a West End slam dunk, especially if it also plays in a theatre of with as high a capacity as the Prince Edward.

And since then we just had a, she had become extremely passionate about the show death becomes her.

And I got to say the national tour is about to go out, see it, do whatever you can to see it.

But we saw Jennifer Samard and Megan Hilty and the other brilliant artists in that I used Christopher and it just, I can't even put wrap my brain around it.

We went last summer.

She saw it multiple times after that, and we all rented a family van, and as a gift to the family at Christmas, we all went to see it again in January.

And she took her dad, and my youngest took her boyfriend, and we did this big family trip to Death Becomes Her, which is one of my favorite shows I have seen in decades.

The brilliance of that writing and the music and the artists.

I saw Lost Boys.

I saw Chess, Lost Boys, Ragtime, Death Becomes Her, and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Nice.

That's a fun lineup.

I think in a world where Joshua Henry was not nominated for a Tony, I think, oh gosh, is it Nicholas Christopher or Christopher Nicholas? I feel bad for looking that up.

Yes, I think he would have won because he was phenomenal, like amazing.

Death Becomes Her, I was super, super excited to see, especially like a lot of those shows close, like announced they were closing like a week or two after.

I basically, the Tony's happened and then the next week they were all like, we're closing.
