Dear Evan Hansen

Fair.

The Dear Evan Hansen type of thing where, like, one of them's lying, one of them doesn't know they're lying, and it spirals out of control, as I've said on this podcast many times, hell for me.

Agreed.

Hate it.

Stressed out.

When I saw Dear Evan Hansen, I had a Playbill in my hand, and I was, like, squir- like, squirreling it together because I was so stressed out, and it came out and some of the ink had gotten on my hands 'cause I was so stressed.

See, I'm not mad at that.

I get it.

It's-

I just hate Dear Evan Hansen.

Yeah, I know, but-

[laughs]

... thank you very much.

And Dear Evan Hansen soundtrack.

Yeah.

[laughs]

You can keep, you can keep your nonsense, but-

I will.

[laughs] I don't even know what the soundtrack of Evan Hansen is.

I literally just like that one song, so.

Ben Platt is 33 years old today.

Is he the guy who plays the little teenager and everybody made fun of him for being so old and still playing a teenager? He played Evan in Dear Evan Hansen.

I think that's what you're talking about.

Yes, they put out a movie trailer.

him look younger.

Cody

Joseph as Dear Evan Hansen.

Yeah.

Yeah.

He has his Dear Evan Hansen.

Oh, Dear

Evan Hansen.

Sorry.

When you said cast, I was like every movie we watch has a cast.

He tried to explain how he got caught up in this lie and how a very small kind of nod of the head and a small lie turns into a slightly bigger one and then it all just kind of spirals out of control.

It very much reminds me of a theatre show that I saw recently called Dear Evan Hansen.

I don't know if anybody's ever seen it but it really reminds me of how the storyline develops in that show, how a small lie can kind of spiral out of control, and all of a sudden you realise you've basically destroyed your whole life.

He said that, he told a small lie of like, yeah, I worked there when people asked him about 9-11.
