Dean G. Witter

[upbeat music] Good, now cut it in half.

Where's that piece on inflation? Just here, broke it from Dean Witter.

Today?

Some people just aren't easy to please.

Especially when it comes to their investments.

Jim, how'd we do?

You look like you just heard from Dean Witter.

At Dean Witter, we can give even the hard to please investor something to smile about.

Clarence Williams, and he's close to his first down.

Morgan Stanley, Dean Witter numbers at halftime.

210 yards of offense for Michigan.

Penn State had the two turnovers.

You have Norwest, a Wells Fargo company, then you have Wells Fargo, Norwest, and then it's just Wells Fargo.

Morgan Stanley acquired Dean Witter.

For a brief amount of time, it was Morgan Stanley, Dean Witter, then it's just became Morgan Stanley because Morgan Stanley was a better brand.

It probably would have been some mashup, a, you know, a Warner company or something.

At the end of the day, I just would have called the whole thing Warner.

We have as our guests at the conclusion of this ball game where Missouri defeated South Carolina by the score of 24 to 14.

And with me is Jerry Duncan, vice president of Dean Witter Reynolds, to present our most valuable player trophy.

And before we get to the naming of the individual who received this sensational trophy, Jerry, you have a little bit of history yourself in Alabama football.

Well, yeah, I was very fortunate a few years back to play for Coach Bryant, the University of Alabama.

And Jim Carlin, the coach of South Carolina, said yesterday, he said, if I fear any player on Missouri's football team, it's Phil Bradley.

Well, he was certainly right, and Phil kept on bringing them back, and they kept on hanging in there.

And it's my pleasure, Howard, to represent the Dean Witterill's organization, not only their organization around the country, but also to welcome the Miss Lou Network to Birmingham, Alabama, and the football capital of the South.

And I think they proved it tonight, had a good crowd.
