American folk singer-songwriter became famous for his humorous, deeply candid autobiographical tunes, most notably his 1972 crossover hit, Dead Skunk.

Al Stewart was born in 1945, one of my all-time favorite 70s singers, I might say.

This Scottish singer-songwriter achieved huge international stardom in the late 1970s with songs like Year of the Cat and Time Passages.
