Dead or Alive

And, uh, I think I shared with you guys privately, but I also, uh...

A friend of mine, uh, uh, is working with a microcinema here in town, and he programmed Dead or Alive, which is a Takashi Miike film.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And I kinda...

He, he was, he was one of those people that when I was coming up as a young wannabe filmmaker going to film school, you always heard about Miike, and for some reason, I thought I'd seen more of his films.

And I, I realized when he's telling me that, uh, you know, he's, he's programming this Miike film, it's Dead or Alive, I was like, "Yeah, sure.

I'm in." And I showed up and was blown away by it, but also I realized I've only seen, uh, previously Audition and maybe 13 Assassins, and those are the only other two Miike films.

Fuck yeah.

Number 48, Dead or Alive, 1999.

Is that the
