I was looking on a list on about, about 201 with Sakura Taisen Joki Radio Show, which I believe is just a spinoff disc, like a radio thing, and it's rated higher than, than Akumajo Dracula X, Daytona USA, and Dragon Force.

Yeah.

Which if you mentioned that to anybody, they'd be like, "You're legit, legit crazy."

I noticed that, too.

It's wild that, uh, you know, Dragon Force is down there at, uh, 204th.

All right, in this action-packed week for the online Daytona USA Shiro tournament, we first saw Pandemonium ZoomZoom pass lower the Micamac in the east with a 5-0 win for the round one match.

Only a few days later, with Worldly Bear zip, zip, zipped across the finish line ahead of Zidane with a 4-1 win in the west.

Wow, I'm sounding like a Dr. Seuss.

was bonkers it and i think my brother had a go at it before i had a go at it it was definitely sit in but i don't remember it being two player yeah it just absolutely boggled my mind that this thing existed and i played it and it's just immediately brilliant sort of unlike i guess the original very drift focused

apparently the xbox version has tracks from daytona usa too that can be unlocked that would have been cool i never

i don't think i've ever seen it i played it a lot on the xbox

so the first one for me uh is daytona usa which is my favorite arcade game of all time i think um it really hit me at i think it was a sort of conjunction of various factors i mean i've always been into kind of cars and racing and things like that so obviously any of those kind of like sega arcade racing games are kind of nailed on for me i used to play at outrun on the atari st the atari st port of outrun how was that as a day It honestly wasn't bad considering how underpowered that system was.

And it had all the music, had Splash Wave, which is the most important thing.

But yeah, I'd always loved racing games.

Not the model.

uh it you know by that point the dreamcast and and sort of the arcade technology were basically on a par so um so yeah that's the reason i think daytona is is always gonna be number one for me because it just was as with all these things a certain time a certain place a certain sort of technology and a certain game that that just really uh was was perfect for me

And so do you remember where you first saw Daytona USA in the arcades? Because you mentioned that you went to a bowling alley.
