You know what I mean? Like, there's a lot of life.

There is another joke I would tell is like, you know, I would go to the Days Inn.

I said, I'd never had Hampton Inn kind of money.

But, you know, we would do what we do.

But then later we found out that two of the planes had left from Logan Airport.

And also there was a Days Inn right down the street from the radio station.

Like it was the Days Inn, another building, and then the radio station.

And two of the hijackers had stayed at that hotel that I passed by every morning.

And for months after that haunted me, like just driving by, knowing they had stayed there, the proximity of it all.

So we're now on the night of the 10th of September, 2001.

In a Days Inn near Boston's Logan Airport, in motel rooms in Newark outside Washington, 19 young men, 15 of them from Saudi Arabia, make their final preparations.

Among their belongings, investigators will later find a handwritten document of spiritual instruction for the operation's last night.

I stayed at a really crappy Days Inn maybe 20 miles south of Atlanta.

He was not here, so that immediately puts him in the clear.

And nine hours go by, and it's nighttime now, and Yo is still in her truck in the motel parking lot in a standoff surrounded by police because she's still got that pew pew, and she's still threatening to un-alive herself.

Now, eventually she does give up, and police swoop in and bam, they arrest her.

Detectives also discovered a series of questionable phone calls back from his home in L.A. to different motel phone numbers in the Silver Spring area.

One specific phone call was made to Lawrence at around midnight on March 3rd, just two hours before the triple murder, and the caller was calling from a Days Inn motel in a neighboring city of Silver Spring.

They then made a list of all the guests who were checked in at the motel on the night of the murders, and one of these names stood out differently from the others.

the name was James Perry this was because this James Perry checked in at midnight on the night of the murders and checked back out at 6 a.m. which seemed like an odd timing to detectives detectives questioned motel staff about James Perry and the staff gave police a xeroxed copy of James photo ID and police learned he was living in Detroit Another coincidence in detectives' minds, because they knew Lawrence was from Detroit.
