Days for Girls

But we have a couple of really interesting partnerships.

Uh, one of our really key local partners is a group called Days for Girls, and this is a, a national and international organization of women volunteers who make kits, uh, for menstruation, uh, washable kits, so that women who live in third-world countries, girls who live in third-world countries, uh, don't have to pay money for buying feminine hygiene products and then have to deal with those as waste products.

So we do a presentation about menstruation with a, a Spanish video to show girls, you know, what is this about, to try to remove the stigma that often exists around that topic, and then we give each of them one of these kits made by these, these women volunteers from the Camp Hill area.

And so that's a really nice way that we've been able to make a contribution to sort of the greater health in the communities that we work.
