What, so is Jack Moylan the exact same player he was at Shelbourne now that he's at Cardiff City? No, he's had better development when he's over in England now.

In terms of getting close to supporters...

You got close to one of the ball's players' grandmothers in the stadium where he might have left her with an injury, celebrating Dawson Devoy's winning goals, such were his vociferous celebrations.

But those celebrations, that enjoyment, that was clear even before the ball was kicked out.

I was obviously in Daly Mill Park on Friday, Bohemians beating Droughty United 2-1. a last minute winner 19 minute winner by Dawson Devoy but the players finished their warm up and were heading back obviously heading back into the dressing rooms and a fella just caught me eye because obviously in the press box in the job you're looking down in the little kind of gangway and there was like a fella in the balls jersey the palestinian jersey and he was almost leaning over as if he wanted to get onto the pitch leaning over the odd boards and he was just waving his arms in the air he had them in the air he was like shaking his fist wildly there was music there was music played it was in between a version of hold me down on the old triangle he was just lost seem to be like lost or in embracing his own kind of form of delirium you know and it was brilliant and then one of the colleagues in the press box pointed out that's actually Patrick Hickey's dad who like you I have become aware of It's almost like a, you know, an urban legend.

You know, you say his name three times and he would appear running down the stands, fist pumping and doing all sorts.

But he was in great form.

On this week's episode, the title race heats up, shells end a bad streak, and Derry give themselves a safety net.

But first, Bowles almost saw their chances at a first-league title at the 17-year slipaway in Dalyman Park last night, but it was Captain Dawson Devoy who scored the crucial goal to get them all three points in an increasingly exciting title race.

However, Drogheda held tough and Andrew Quinn levelled the game halfway through the second half.

I think it was probably about three or four months ago I was on here and I was talking about the fact that they weren't getting enough goals from midfield.

In fairness to them, the likes of Tierney, Vaughan, Parsons, Rooney, Dawson, Devoy have all come up with big moments.

I thought Tierney's goal was really well taken.

You then have Whelan coming off the bench who seems to have a little bit of confidence in his game, he takes his first one really well.

But he'd only won 10 games.

he's very direct as well and he kind of has confidence in his own ability but if he'd done one thing that no other player was doing and we give Dawson Devoy and Tierney all the credits but when he was getting into the positions he was head up and he was kind of he was getting his shots on target and making the keeper work and that's what happened he got the two shots on target and they were the first one was a very good second one was a great run and a great finish as well so like that's, in the tick of it, and you're talking about title races, in the tick of it to come on and have that sort of wherewithal to drive and get your head up and put the ball in the area to go where it's second to none.

We don't see it that often.

It's real, real, real quality mixed together with hard work.

And then to counteract that, you had Bohemians playing with two sitting players in Dawson, Devoy and Flores.

And the three kind of ahead of them in Harry Vaughan, Tierney and Parsons who were kind of rotating over and back the whole time.

But Ross Tierney found himself in lovely little pockets.

And it was really, for anyone that might have been watching it, we were trying to highlight it at halftime, but it was a real problem for Jamie Lennon because as Forrester was pushing on and they were doing a good job because Devoy was quiet in the first half, as was Flores.

and young Sheridan who played really well on the day as they were pressing on the two of them Jamie Lennon was left and you could see him if there was a camera on him the amount of times he was kind of looking thinking I need to go and he was obviously very occupied by Harry Vaughan how good he was but then Tierney was popping up in this little pocket to the left side of him and Luke Turner was trying to decide should I be the one going in and rightly so he was the left side of the centre half but he wasn't going in enough at times and Ross was finding himself in lovely little pockets played a great little pass to Douglas James Taylor in the first half should have scored And I just found it really intriguing that side of it.

And both of them, it wasn't like kind of one team had the edge over.
