Davis Islands

Yeah, that's like DI.

Like Davis Islands here,

I think it's even higher than 14.

You might know better than me.

They have height restrictions on Davis Island because of the airport.

So you're kind of getting squeezed.

But that's the weird thing about Davis Islands.

First of all, that island is man-made and was built in the 1920s.

Bayshore is like a million dollar home.

It's right by Davis Island.

That's where like Jeter lived.

Tom Brady lived.

Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.

We've got a... little party happening pretty soon over Davis Island waves.

Hmm.

He grabs one of the phones and then types in it several times and then swipes, and all of a sudden you hear your phone chime.

You just go ahead and call that number when you need the lights to go out on Davis Island.

You've got South Tampa, a lot of South Tampa Beach Park.

Um, you know, you've got cold breath, you've got Bay shore, you've got Hyde park, Soho, um, Davis Island, Harbor Island, ballast point.

You have all those areas that do incredibly well, but you can't create more land there.

So it, you know, the, the storms gave kind of the blessing to, to, to get rid of a lot of the, the, I can't call the storms a blessing.

I guess they started at probably, it looks like 3 a.m., 2.30, 3 a.m. or so.

And they were all over Harbor Island, Davis Islands, over downtown Tampa, like Claire Mill, it looks like.

So, let's see, Ybor City, right, and then they moved over to South Tampa on the west side of the South Tampa Peninsula, and they flew, like, from, like, West Shore, like, the West Shore area, like, you know where World of Beer is on Boy Scout? Yeah.

They flew from there all the way down to Gandy, right? And they did loops up and down, up and down, up and down, spraying for the dengue fever mosquito

So.

Fuck, there's this house for sale right now on Davis Island in Tampa, boys.

Right in my wheelhouse.

I'm like, "I should just go buy this fucking house right now."

Davis Island.

I, there's gotta be something wrong with the foundation of something.

I'm like, "There's gotta be a loophole in this fucking house."

He has two children now with his wife, Emily, here in Tampa.

They have a home in Davis Islands.

This is his, I think, his forever home.

Who knows if he moves back to Texas one day, but this community has, you know, he's beloved.
