Could you please provide us with some context and also a bit of an update around sort of where it's at and where it came from?

David WaldronGUEST
Well, the notion first came to me via Sez Lothian, who was looking at wanting to put together a website talking about local queer history in relation to a number of other projects like Frolic and so on.

David WaldronGUEST
They came to me specifically because I've come across a lot of queer stories in terms of local history.

David WaldronGUEST
I've done a couple of podcast episodes on them, in particular Two Trans Men, Jack Jorgensen and Edward de Lacey Evans, which had quite famous stories.

David WaldronGUEST
And has a lot of features that became sort of quite interesting to me, one of which was, for instance, today we're in the midst of a moral panic about trans women.

David WaldronGUEST
The 19th century, trans women were considered quite a minor thing and it was trans men they were afraid of.

David WaldronGUEST
They were worried about, as they framed it, I'll see if I'll mirror the quotes they have today, that women might be infiltrating male spaces.
