David Sodergren

we love an unreliable narrator

yes so I slay it I say it and then I read Maggie's Grave by David Sodergren and this is about a In this small Scottish town, back in the day, there was a woman who everyone thought was a witch.

And she was pregnant from, you know, of course, like, a man cheating on his wife.

She was pregnant.

Where are we at here? Okay.

It's David Sodergren.

Have you read any of his stuff?

No.

And my thing, that's really awesome, but I have read nothing so far that sucks.

All of it's really good.

So I recommend anything from, uh, David Sodergren, you know, check him out.

He's from Scotland too.

And also potentially on a couple of panels that's still to be decided, but I'm going to be there representing and talking about ghost stories and putting yourself into stories and crafting original twisted tales, that kind of thing.

I'm also going to be at the Indie Horror Chapter event in Derby in the first weekend of April with a few of my buddies Dan Howarth, Paul Stevenson, David Sodergren is going to be there who was on the show previously as well as Jasper Bart who was also on the show and a bunch of familiar faces so that looks like it's going to be quite a fun one I'm very much looking forward to that and I've also just had confirmation of a table at the Liverpool Book Festival in March so again like all packed at the front of the year but this is going to be I've done cons and tables and things with Hawk and Cleaver, selling the other stories and some of our books through that publishing company.

But this will be the first time I'm really doubling down, going solo and doing, you know, Devil's Rock stuff.

I'm going to be hucking the Twisted Tales.

It came out in 2022.

It's by David Sodergren.

This is a Scottish folk horror book, and this is one that took me a couple times to really get into.

Uh, I'm glad I did.

I would recommend all of these books for sure.

Check them out.

Uh, check out The Haar by David Sodergren.

Fantastic spooky book for Halloween.

Hail Satan.

And this week, we bring you The Haar by David Sodergren.

Now, I'm very sorry, I pronounced that the English way, and I'm dropping all the Rs.

I feel like I should be going The Haar by David Sodergren.

But I don't want to piss off Scottish listeners.

I really apologise for saying The Haar and for doing a terrible Scottish accent.
