David Rudnick

Now, club culture.

Arsenal have introduced Rocastle, a bespoke typeface named after the late David "Rocky" Rocastle, created by David Rudnick with Leo Burnett.

It draws on the club's visual history and brings that heritage into modern design.

A fitting tribute to a player whose legacy remains part of Arsenal's identity.

Rocky remembered in print.

This week we unveiled Rock Castle, a bespoke typeface named after club legend David Rock Castle and developed over several years with acclaimed designer David Rudnick.

Designed to sit alongside our existing heritage marks, Rock Castle draws on our history of typography, crests and visual design, taking particular inspiration from our Gothic watermark and historic Victoria Concordia Crescent crest.

Alongside the typeface, we have introduced the Capital, a standalone A that forms part of the same identity.
