David Rodigan

...

the, uh, David Rodigan, and someone else, basically.

Okay.

And, um, yeah, David Rodigan's introductions to songs, 'cause I think people underestimate that as well.

Like, when you can give an intro to a song and people don't know what it is you're gonna play, but when you play it they get the two vibes.

Uh-huh.

Have you got any sort of like favorite DJs or anything like that, people who've, like, inspired you to become a DJ and now you're inspiring the next generation?

So David Rodigan's obviously a massive, massive inspiration.

Um, my dad used to listen to his clashes growing up, so I'd obviously hear them as well.

Um, and obviously I, I cover him on One Extra now, which absolutely blows my mind.

[techno music] Slap it down.

[techno music] Sound basher, soundboy like Rodigan.

My team's a problem.

Six sixteens, we've got a lot of 'em.

[upbeat music] David Rodigan, thank you for joining me today.

Well, Elijah, thank you for the invitation.

Thank you.

Oh, really?

And I was like, "Oh, this is, this is sick.

This tune, you know, this is happening." And then I've heard them a couple of times do the bars over it, and then eventually it obviously became Breakage featuring David Rodigan and No General's Hard.

And you kinda got welcomed into the kind of dubstep world as a selector.

You playing, uh, like Dub Police and all these kind of other dances.
